Lucy's

A few months later: A few months had past and they had been amazing, Richard and I enjoyed a lovely month long honeymoon in America just travelling around the country and visiting places like Disneyland. And when we arrived home we had the biggest welcome back by all our friends and family, also being away meant that I was getting closer and closer to my due date of our baby girl Aisling, only 3 weeks to go now it’s so exciting. Richard and I are preparing ourselves and the gang ready for when she arrives as she could be early. I’m in the kitchen making myself and my man a cuppa when I hear this noise coming from the garden, I poured the water in the mugs to let it brew and walked into the garden only to find Hollie and Charlotte playing in the snow, yes SNOW!! and me being me I waddled over to them and we had a mini snow ball fight before Richard came out and said “Errrm babe… I thought you were making me a cuppa, not playing in the snow like a 4 year old.” “Ahaahaa! Well… I was making you a cuppa then I just HAD to play in the snow because the childish side of me was itching to get out.” “Ah, okay. Well, in that case…” Richard bent down and got some snow in his hand and threw it at Charlotte “SNOWBALL FIGHT!” we played in the snow for about 15 minutes before going inside and having the cuppas I was making, we were sat on the sofa talking about the baby and life in general then Richard asked me to follow him upstairs as he had a surprise for me, and every girl loves surprises so I followed him up the stairs, he placed his hands over my eyes so I couldn’t see where I was going, he opened a door and took his hands away “SURPRISE!” I opened my eyes and Richard has spent the last few days making up the Nursery for our baby girl, the walls were pale yellow, with ducks on, the theme we wanted for the Nursery was ducks, and the room was beautiful, all the toys, clothes, cot etc just amazing!! He had worked so hard on it “Oh my god! It’s… It’s amazing!” “Do you like it?” “No… I LOVE IT!” I turned to him and smiled then leaned in an kissed him. We stood there together for a moment, with his hands on my bump taking in the reality of what had happened in the past 2 years… Richard tweeting me, meeting at Friday Download, getting to know each other, the ups and downs, being together, more ups and downs, getting pregnant, getting engaged, getting married and now waiting on the birth of our baby girl. The past 2 years with Richard have been amazing, and its about to get more amazing as when we were stood having our little moment together I felt something go WOOSH out of my body, my waters had broke!! Richard and I both looked at each other “It’s time!!” “GUYS IT’S TIME!! IT’S TIME!!” and I just heard a bunch of screams come from down stairs I just burst into tears of joy as this day was finally here baby Aisling is about to be born. Richard helped me down stairs to get me into the car to get to the hospital…

It came to the time of speeches, cake and more dancing. We were all sat at the tables and my Dad delivered the most beautiful speech, but then it was time for Richard to deliver his speech, and oh my god did I cry!! Like a fucking baby!! Richard’s speech: “Hello Ladies, Gentleman and My beautiful wife. I’d like to start off by thanking you all for coming here today to celebrate the love of Lucy and I, it means so much… The first time I ever spoke to Lucy was through a tweet I had sent her on twitter, I remember her always saying that she was my biggest fan so I thought I’d tweet her… Going back to that moment now I can just imagine Lucy screaming at the screen with delight that I had tweeted her *laughs* and I remember the first time I ever met her, she was so beautiful but yet so nervous… I remember the first time we ever went out together and the first time we kissed, I knew from that moment on we would become something special and here we are today standing in front of you as husband and wife. I had belief that we would be together forever because -and at this moment he started referencing the Gavin DeGraw song Belief -

Richard then pointed at the stage and Gavin DeGraw was there and he started playing Belief it was so beautiful! After the song had finished Richard had one final thing to add to his speech “Lucy and I have had some hard times this year, but yet we managed to stick together through thick and thin, I know nothing will break us apart because whenever she gets worried I’ll be her Soldier. Always and forever.” He yet again pointed at the stage and Gavin sang his song Soldier. Richard reached his hand towards mine and pulled me onto the dance floor as we swayed long into the night. Such a perfect wedding day….

As Richard and I danced to this beautiful song he whispered in my ear “You know I’ll always love you, no matter what happens! And I know the past few months have been a bit rough we’ve worked through it. I couldn’t ask for a better person to spend the rest of my and start a family with, you mean everything to me Mrs. Wisker. I love you.” I felt a small tear land on my shoulder, I lifted my head and looked at him and smiled, I smiled at him for a moment speechless of what to say back, the tears started up and he pulled me into a kiss. We kissed for a moment then unlocked lips and said breathlessly “I Love You!” the song finished and everyone applauded. One Direction sang another one of their classics and then my all time favorites JLS came onto the stage and everyone just dance the night away to She Makes Me Wanna! Such a perfect night….   

Sorry it’s short and I haven’t written in a very long time, but I’ve had some very sad news in the past month, My Grandad died in November and my Nan died 16th December, so sorry for the delays and I hope everyone had a good Christmas and Happy New Year! <3 xxx

The ceremony was beautiful, with the music and the vows, but most of all when the Vicar said “You may now kiss the Bride.” instead of confetti we had fake snowflakes fall from the top of the ceiling, it was beautiful. Richard and I walked out hand in hand with everyone applauding as we exited the church, we got into a car and drove straight to the reception venue where we chilled in a hotel close by before entering the venue when everyone else had arrived. We were in our hotel room, and Richard picked me up in a ‘Princess style’ carry and took me over to the bed and just dropped me so I bounced a little, we both giggled then he jumped on too and he was just staring at me with those perfect eyes and handsome smile, and then he leaned in and kissed me! Was this actually happening to me? Was this MY wedding night with Richard Wisker? I had been dreaming of this moment for the past 2 1/2 years!! And it was happening, we kissed for about a minute until he whispered in my ear  “I love you Mrs Wisker!” “Hmmm, Mrs Wisker. I LOVE the sound of that!!” was my reply “Well then my gorgeous wife and unborn child, don’t you think we better get to OUR wedding reception?” I looked at his beautiful brown eyes and thought to myself ‘Do we really have to go? I’d rather stay here with you.’ “Well……I suppose we should seeing as it is OUR wedding day!” I winked at him and we got ready to go to the cafe for our reception which was going to be the best night of our lives, with music, food, drinks, dancing and family but most of all our first dance. A voice on the microphone said “Ladies and Gentlemen could we please gather around the dance floor for Mr and Mrs Wisker to have their first dance.” As I walked over to the dance floor I noticed 5 chairs and microphones set up, I wonder who is going to sing our wedding song, then I looked at the stage with disbelief……

As we drove to the church I could feel the butterflies in my stomach, it wasn’t the baby it was pure nerves! But if I feel like this driving to the church, imagine how Richard must be feeling as he’s already at the church probably shitting himself! It was only a short drive to the church so I didn’t have time to be nervous for long, but as we pulled up outside the church I looked out the window and saw a beautiful setting with white rose petals and snow! Our Winter Wonderland wedding. The girls got out first, in their gorgeous green dresses and then I stepped out of the limo in my beautiful white wedding dress, and as I stepped out I looked up at the church and just said “Wow!” at the amazing setting our friends and family had put together for us and a small tear trickled down my face with happiness. We had some more photos taken outside the church before my Mum came up to me and said “You ready?” I took a deep breath and nodded, we got into a mini formation and walked in the big doors of the church. As I saw the girls walk down the aisle to the intro of Conor Maynard’s Turn Around, I took a quick glimpse down the aisle and saw the most handsome man in the world, but it wasn’t long before my Dad was leading me down the aisle at the chorus of the song and everyone stood up and looked straight at me, I could see Richard down the other end of the church with his big grin on his face, he looked so handsome as did all the other boys. I looked around the church and just saw everyone staring at me with smiles on their faces and small tears running down their cheeks as they couldn’t believe the sight they were seeing. My Dad and I finally reached  the alter, and he kissed me on the cheek and went and sat by my Mum. Richard took my hand and lead me up on the alter and whispered in my ear “You look amazing.” I smiled and returned a look which meant the same thing. We both stood at the altar facing each other and the Vicar began the ceremony….

2 weeks later…………….

WEDDING DAY!! So here we are. ‘The Big Day!’ I, Lucy Emma Stratford was about to marry the love if my life and father of my unborn child, Richard David Kevin Wisker! So the day arrived, wow those 2 weeks went fast! And in those 2 weeks we started work on the nursery for the baby and Richard booked a secret honeymoon and he WOULD NOT tell me where we were going! I rolled over in bed only to be awaken by the most beautiful face, Richard, his hair was messy in all the right places, it was perfect “Morning beautiful.” “Morning handsome.” we said with a kiss. Richard and I got up and went down for breakfast in our pj’s, and while I was making the teas he came up behind me and put his arms around my waist resting his head on my shoulder and whispered in my ear “We’re getting married today.” “I know! I wonder how that happened” I replied with a small giggle then he whispered in my ear again “Mrs Wisker!” Oh my DAYS!! MRS FOOKING WISKER! It was a dream comes true, I had been thinking of this day since I was 15/16 and now it was finally here! Everyone was eventually awake and had breakfast. The girls were getting ready at the house and the boys were getting ready at the hotel where everyone would be staying if they have a few too many tonight. Oh this is amazing family and friends, boys in their suits, girls in their dresses, and the speeches! Ahh today is going to be the best day of my life in a magical winter wonderland

4 hours till the wedding!!

So it’s a few hours until the wedding so girls decided to start getting ready, this involved having showers or baths, doing hair then make up then finally putting on dresses and shoes before getting in the car to the church! The girls got themselves ready first before helping me do my hair, make up and finally get into my beautiful wedding dress! Everyone looked stunning, my Mum was there and she shed a small tear and we weren’t even at the church yet! The photographer took some photos of us girls after being at the hotel with the boys taking their photos. We all had a glass of champagne to calm the nerves, I was so excited but nervous at the same time, can that actually happen? Anyway we heard a ‘BEEP BEEP!’ come from outside and as I looked outside I saw a white stretch limo! We had some more pictures before making our way to the church for the best day of my life become reality…….

I peeped my head round the door cautiously, but Richard gently pushed me in and I just gasped. I had walked into a magical Winter Wonderland! It was beautiful! I could not believe what I was seeing, there were make-believe ice sculptures (in other words they were either glass or really nice plastic) twinkling lights, fake snow and everything! And the top table was made to look like a mini Santa’s grotto! It was coming along nicely. I thought to myself ‘If this is what the cafe looks like, imagine the church!’ I could not believe what I was seeing, I turned to Richard and said “It’s so beautiful, I…..I don’t know what to say! Thank you.” “Aww babe!” he said as he pulled me into a hug “But don’t thank me, thank our amazing best friends!” he had pointed over to the corner and there everyone was, Cel, Hollie, Aid, Char, Tyger, Sophie, Chelsie, Jack and the rest of the gang! They had used my guidelines for the wedding and made it even better than I had imagined! I couldn’t thank them enough. I had one last look around the room before going off to my final dress fitting with my Mum, Chels, Hollie, Sophie and Char at Berketex Bride.

So we arrived at Berketex Bride, and we all walked in very excited!! “Well Hello there and welcome back to Berketex Bride. I believe it’s your final fitting.” “Yep! The big day’s only 2 weeks away!” I said with a smile and the shop assistant smiled back as she went to get my dress. A few moments past and she arrived back with my dress, I went into the changing room and with the help of the shop assistant I got into my wedding dress. Once I was ready I stood in the dressing room for a moment just admiring myself and how beautiful I thought I looked in my simple but elegant  strapless dress with ribbon just under my bust with enough room for baby Wisker. I took a deep breath and pulled back the curtain “Oh!” my Mum let out as her eyes filled with tears “You look……you look SO beautiful Luce!” said everyone as I looked at their tear filled eyes. I was so pleased that everyone thought I look beautiful because I didn’t want to look like a fat marshmallow! The girlies went and got thier dresses on, long dark green dresses with a small flower corsage on the left hip, with everyone’s hair and make-up done on the big day everyone is going to look even more beautiful than they do now……

So there we were….me and Richard, yet again in the hospital. I couldn’t understand why all this pregnancy shit was just happening to me, I mean the doctors must be sick of me keep coming in and being a worry pot! Well being 18, this being my first baby and being such a young mum, I think I’m entitled to worry this much don’t you?……So there we were yet again in the doctor’s office waiting for MORE test results! This is obviously a sign to tell me I don’t deserve this baby, which I obviously don’t because one died! I told Richard all my worries and he said “You deserve everything you have, including this baby and including me! If you ask me I’d say you deserve the whole world but what you gonna do?” he said while looking into my eyes and making me smile. The doctor came back with the results and I was perfectly fine apart from it was violent morning sickness which would last a few days. BRILLIANT! But despite that I was going to let it ruin our final 2 weeks together as a non-married couple, so we set off for walk in Hyde Park as it was such a lovely day and obviously Richard got stopped by fans but I didn’t seem to mind it that much as I had got used to it. After the fans had left us Richard said to me “Close your eyes I’ve got a surprise for you.” So I closed my eyes and Richard walked me forward for 5 minutes and then “TaaDaaaa!” Richard reveled where we were; it was our cafe with decorations and things outside obviously starting to get things ready for the wedding. I gasped with excitement and Richard said “If you’re this excited now just wait til you see inside.” I couldn’t hold my excitement any longer; I opened the door and walked in……..

The knocking continued on the door “Well go answer it then!” Chelsie suggested so I stood up nervously and went over to the front door “Who is it?” I asked the person on the other side of the door “It’s the Police! I hear someone’s been very naughty!” my jaw dropped and I whispered to the others “Shit it’s the Police! What are we gonna do?!” “Just open the door and see what they want.” Said Sophie, so I cautiously opened the door only to find a Policeman, well when I say Policeman, I mean that my best friend had ordered a stripper! Thank you very much Chelsie! The Stripper walked in and shouted “HAS SOMEONE BEEN NAUGHTY?!” we all cheered and screamed and he dragged me back into the living room, he then pressed the play button on his boom box and began stripping! (And well you can probs guess the rest) We had all had a crazy night, we girls went to sleep about 1am and the boys strolled in a little after 3am! In the morning everyone woke up with sore heads and just felt very tired, but I had woken up to the most beautiful thing of all, Richard! I rolled over to face him and placed my hand on his head and gently began to stroke his hair, his shoulders moved upwards as he breathed in heavily “Hmmmm. Morning beautiful.” He said as his eyes fluttered open, he placed his hand on my cheek moved in closer and kissed me, we were just getting into our good morning kiss, when all of a sudden I pulled away and placed my hand over my mouth, I looked at Richard with wide eyes before running into our bathroom and throwing up, morning sickness! Great! The sound I made while throwing up was horrible and it felt horrible, I felt like I was going to throw the baby up it was that bad, Richard knocked on the bathroom door “Babe, you alright?” “Yeah I’m…..BLURGH!” I managed to get out, Richard opened the door and I looked dreadful “Babe!” said Richard as he rushed over to me laying me in his arms, I looked so pale and pasty it was unreal! “I think we need to go to hospital!” said Richard……I know! ANOTHER trip to the hospital!

Okay, so I’ve been dragging this out for what, 47 parts now? So I think it’s time I get on with the lead up to the wedding and the baby being born ;) But thanks to all of you that have read thus far, I really appreciate it :) and sorry it’s long! Xxx

2 WEEKS TIL THE WEDDING!!!

The wedding was just 2 weeks away and Richard and I had some final things to organise before the big day arrived, BUT tomorrow night was gonna be the biggest night EVER! Richard’s Bachelor party and my Hen du were going to be in full swing, and going to be a huge surprise as Jack and Chelsie had organised them so we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, but Chelsie did tell me that she had planned something small and simple at the house and Jack let slip to Chelsie that he has this HUGE night planned for Richard at this new club in the centre of London ‘LIQUID’.

 The night was here and the guys and girls of the Friday Download household were getting ready for the greatest night of our lives! Although my Hen du was at the house, the girls still had the excuse to dress up and put me in a crown with a vial, a bride to be sash and ‘L’ plates and to top it all off the maxi dress I was wearing with my bump showing! Fabulous! As you can tell us girls decided to dress up in tartyish clothes and the guys were going out dressed as school boys, the baggy trousers, untucked white shirt, red and navy blue striped tie, geeks glasses and freckles, and obviously looking gorgeous! “Well you girls have fun and we’ll see you later.” Richard whispered in my ear “Hmmm don’t have too much fun! I love you.” I said as I gave Richard a look before kissing him “I love you. See you girls later!” “BYE!” and off they went shouting and cheering through the door before it slammed behind them. “Right girlies if you would like to follow me.” Chelsie said excitedly as she led us into the living room where there was ‘drinks and nibbles’ set out on the coffee table I thought to myself ‘Is this IT? Drinks and nibbles? Surely Chels can do better than this!’ but no matter what I thought I sat down and appreciated my best friends efforts.

 At the club the guys seemed to be having more fun as the drink was flowing and there were plenty of girls! But luckily none of them were single. “Hey Jack! Fit blonde over at the bar!” shouted Cel in Jack’s ear “Yeah she’s alright I guess!” “Well go talk to her then!” “Naaaah you’re alright mate!” “Why not?!” “I’m seeing Chelsie ent I!” “WHAT?!” shouted Cel who then tapped Richard “Did you know about this?” “Know about what?” “He’s seeing Chelsie!” said Cel as he gestured to Jack “Chelsie, as is Lucy’s best mate Chelsie?!” questioned Richard, Jack nodded “SINCE WHEN?!” shouted Richard “Well you know that time when you was at the hospital with Lucy’s baby drama, and we walked in holding hands? A few weeks before then, but we didn’t wanna say nothing because we wanted to see how things went and obviously it’s going good!” “Well I’m really pleased for ya mate! Chelsie’s lucky to have ya!” Richard said with a wink.

——-BACK AT THE HOUSE——-

Back at the house the Hen party was getting into full swing, the music was blaring and the drink was flowing, for some of us anyway. We were having a blast and then the subject of boys came up, it was like we were at school again! “So Luce, when did you know Richard was the right one for you?” asked Char “Well obviously I fell in love with him from the moment I saw him on my telly for the first time, but the moment I really fell in love with him completely was when we had our little moment in the cafe!” I blushed slightly and everyone went “Awwwww!” we continued to talk about mine and Richard’s relationship before moving on to Jack and Chelsie and she admitted the whole thing, and just then there was a mysterious knock at the door…..Who was it?
